During my time as a news writer for The Poly Post, I took an active role in promoting my published articles through strategic social media engagement. Recognizing that visibility is key to audience impact, I leveraged social media platforms to amplify reach and draw readers to timely and relevant stories.

In addition to static content, I utilized Instagram Stories and Reels to tease exclusive quotes, feature videos, and multimedia elements from the reporting process. This interactive approach not only promoted readership but helped foster a stronger connection between the student audience and campus journalism.

I created customized captions, graphics, and story previews tailored to each article’s subject matter — whether it was an arts feature, cultural event, or breaking campus news. By aligning post timing with audience activity trends and university schedules, I was able to optimize impressions and engagement. I often collaborated with the paper’s digital team to ensure that visual elements and headlines were compelling and SEO-conscious.

Through this work, I strengthened my ability to combine journalistic storytelling with digital marketing, bringing greater attention to underreported stories and encouraging community conversation around campus news.

As a Social Media Manager for Bag It Up Boutique, I led the digital marketing efforts across multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and TikTok.

My role centered on maintaining a consistent and engaging brand presence through multimedia content, marketing strategy, and audience interaction.


I produced, edited, and scheduled original content tailored to each platform, using tools like Photoshop to enhance visual assets. I stayed up to date on digital media trends to create timely, relevant posts that resonated with the boutique’s target audience. Through a data-informed approach, I helped increase engagement and grow the brand’s online following by closely monitoring analytics and adapting strategy accordingly.

In addition to daily content creation, I played a key role in developing and executing full-scale marketing campaigns and paid media advertisements. I collaborated with the brand’s communications team to craft messaging that aligned with both promotional goals and the boutique’s identity. I also hosted live promotional streams, giving the brand a direct and interactive line to its customer base.

My work contributed to stronger audience engagement, increased online sales, and greater brand visibility. This experience deepened my skills in digital strategy, brand communication, and creative marketing, and reinforced my passion for using storytelling to connect with and grow communities online.

Through my experience as a brand ambassador, I’ve gained valuable skills in digital marketing and public relations by promoting brands through strategic content creation, audience engagement, and brand storytelling.

I’ve collaborated with companies to represent their image authentically, utilizing social media marketing, influencer outreach, and promotional campaigns to drive awareness and engagement. By crafting compelling content, engaging with online communities, and understanding consumer behavior, I’ve developed a strong ability to build brand identity, foster connections, and create effective marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences.

As a brand ambassador for Bumble, I gained valuable experience in digital marketing and public relations by promoting the brand through strategic content creation, event marketing, and community engagement.

I organized and hosted on- and off-campus promotional events, such as bar networking nights and tabling junctures, along with leveraging social media platforms to share engaging branded content that generated buzz and strengthened brand awareness. By fostering a positive brand image and gathering feedback from peers, I provided key insights to the company, contributing to the overall marketing strategy at the campus level.

As a brand ambassador for Rockstar Energy, I gained hands-on experience in digital marketing and public relations by promoting the brand through content creation, event marketing, and social media engagement.
